Water Removal

Quickly ejects water from your speaker grills using high-frequency sound waves to prevent damage and restore clear audio.

The Professional Approach to Water Ejection

Fix My Speaker utilizes a sophisticated acoustic ejection method that is significantly safer than physical cleaning or high-heat drying.

When your device comes into contact with water—whether it's a splash by the pool, rain, or a drop in the sink—liquid enters the speaker mesh. Due to surface tension, this liquid stays trapped in the tiny holes of the grill, creating a barrier that prevents sound waves from escaping clearly. This results in the muffled, "underwater" sound quality many users experience.

Our tool generates a series of alternating low and high-frequency tones. These frequencies are specifically calibrated to cause maximum displacement of the speaker diaphragm without exceeding its physical limits. This rapid movement creates a pumping effect, physically pushing the water out through the grill.

Device-Specific Advice

For iPhone Users

iPhones (from Series 7 onwards) have built-in water resistance, but the speakers are still vulnerable. If you see the "Liquid Detected" warning, do not charge your phone. Use our Stage 2 and 3 settings specifically, as they target the smaller acoustic cavities found in modern iPhones.

For Android Users

Android devices vary greatly in speaker design. High-end Samsung and Pixel devices often have "stereo" setups where both the bottom and top (earpiece) speakers can get wet. Run the tool twice, once with the phone upright and once inverted, to clear both speakers effectively.

Why Sound Waves are Superior

Physical tools like cotton swabs or toothpicks often push the water deeper into the speaker gasket or, worse, puncture the protective membrane. Compressed air can have the same negative effect. Acoustic ejection is the only non-invasive way to remove liquid from the internal acoustic chamber.

Break Surface Tension

High frequencies vibrate the water at its resonant frequency, breaking the bond between the liquid and the metal mesh.

Deep Cavity Cleaning

Our Stage 3 vibration mode targets the deepest part of the speaker driver where moisture often hides.

How It Works

01

Stage 1: Initial Water Ejection

Plays sound frequencies to safely remove surface water from the speaker grill. Repeat 3 times for best results.

02

Stage 2: Tilted Water Removal

Tilt your device while playing audio to remove deeper trapped moisture inside the speaker cavity. Repeat 3 times.

03

Stage 3: Final Sound Cleanup

Completes removal of any remaining droplets or dust while restoring optimal speaker performance. Repeat 4 times for maximum clarity.
